The first two years of Seasonal Scriptures in Song have been fantastic. Twenty-four songs have been completed. I am currently working on new songs as well as the various settings of each.
The mission remains ever present in my mind as year three begins: “To transform and enrich the daily and faith lives of all people through creative and meaningful songs and musical experiences.”
I’m also excited to share a resource that I developed during the summer of 2017, Seasonal Scriptures in Song Implementation Strategies. The suggested methods are provided as a starting point for how the songs can be incorporated into the worship, devotional, and teaching life of congregations, schools, and individuals. As the project grows and experiences are shared, these strategies will be updated.
This truly is a great way for my patrons to become a part of enriching the lives of many! And, the opportunity to expand this type of work can more easily occur with the help of many. What’s amazing is that this can happen at various contribution levels starting as low as $1 per month.
